ACORD Solutions Group board chair Sabine VanderLinden is co-founder, CEO and Managing Partner of Alchemy Crew, a venture validation studio using open innovation, ecosystem thinking, and digital parallel experiment-led techniques to accelerate the identification, validation, and commercialization of new world services as well as disruptive business models. Sabine was the CEO & co-founder of Startupbootcamp InsurTech (UK) & Hartford’s InsurTech Hub Accelerator (Hartford, USA) where she built issue-led accelerators with over 30 corporate insurers, 100s of global investors and accelerated in 70+ startup ventures, helping them raise over $100m in funding. She is a pioneer in building innovation ecosystems, a co-editor of bestseller The INSURTECH Book, a multi-award winner, and a top 50 InsurTech Influencer.

Regis is the CEO of COGITANDA France, the French subsidiary of a German insurance group created in 2016 that focus on managing and insuring cyber risks. Before joining COGITANDA, Regis has been the Group CIO of SCOR for 25 years. He led the transformation of SCOR and its information system towards globalization, all cloud, close IT & Business partnership, and digital adoption. Regis joined SCOR in 1982 as a Project Manager, after a first experience in IT Consulting. He was then successively Head of IT Developments, CIO France, before being appointed Group CIO in 1992. Regis has always been committed to global insurance market initiatives. From 2014 to 2018, he has acted as the Chairman of Ruschlikon, the global community of insurers, brokers and reinsurers created to develop e-processing within the ecosystem, based upon ACORD standards. One of the Ruschlikon founders, he’s still involved in growing its footprint in new countries. Over 2017 & 2018, he chaired the Shareholder Committee of B3i, the Blockchain Insurance Industry Initiative. Régis has been vice-president of Cigref, the large Groups’ CIO organization in France, and is still a Board member of Afai, the French association for IT audit & security, the national ISACA Chapter. In 2007, he has been elected “CIO of the year” for the Finance area in France. Régis has an IT Engineer degree from the INSA Lyon High School.

Nicole Kellenberger has been working for Swiss Re for 20 years. She began her career as an accountant, responsible for the Iberian and Latin American markets. In recent years, she has developed her leadership skills and technical expertise in reinsurance. Since 2011 she took up leading positions for different markets globally. Nicole's motivation is to shape the work environment of her employees by creating an atmosphere of trust in order to increase their development capacity and exceed departmental expectations. In her role as Global System & eAdmin lead, the priorities are focused on two core mandates: develop and deploy smart processing solutions across the value chain thereby improving productivity and service as well as digitization and automation and the change management that needs to go hand in hand with digital transformation. Together with her team, Nicole provides thought leadership to the markets and helps clients and brokers to become more efficient and effective as well as agile. Prior to her reinsurance experience, Nicole worked in marketing and public relations in various positions in Switzerland and Spain.

Samuel Medina is a global executive who has successfully led global expansions for major corporations in five different industries - Re/insurance, Global payments, Banking, Consumer Electronics, and Consulting. His career record to-date includes completing over 30 successful business and technology transformations, opening 60 international offices, and conducting business in over 100 countries. Sam served as the Global CIO & Chief Business Transformation Officer for Willis Group Holdings, Ltd., Global CIO & CTO of General Reinsurance/Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., Chief Information Officer of Americas Xerox Corporation, Vice President, Global Planning for MasterCard International, and Vice President, International Planning Systems for Citicorp/Citibank. He’s currently serving as the CEO for SoundStep Consulting Services.

Ian is the Global Business Leader of AdvantageGo. In this role, Ian is responsible for the strategic direction and the operations of the company and leading AdvantageGo´s dedicated team of specialists in delivering best-in-class commercial (re)insurance software that transforms risk administration. He has a goal to build the next generation ecosystem to digitise the Specialty insurance market. Ian brings over 30 years of experience across the insurance, reinsurance and technology sectors.

Bill Pieroni is President & CEO of ACORD. Prior to his appointment in 2016, Mr. Pieroni served as the Global Chief Operating Officer of Marsh and was responsible for the firm’s global operations. Additionally, he was the Chief Technology and Transformation Officer across the Risk and Insurance Segment. Prior to joining Marsh, Mr. Pieroni was Senior Vice President and part of the Office of the Chairman at State Farm. Prior to that, he served as Aon’s Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer with global responsibility for operations across retail, wholesale and reinsurance brokerage. His extensive insurance and financial services background also includes General Manager of IBM’s insurance business, a partner at Accenture, and consultant with McKinsey & Company. Mr. Pieroni earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting with University Honors & Distinction from the University of Illinois. He also received his M.B.A with Highest Distinction, and was named a Baker Scholar from Harvard University School of Business Administration.
